Rockford Roller Aluminum Idler Rollers are designed for use in a broad range of functions in the web processing and converting industry.  Each roller is designed to meet the customer's specific requirements for their roll or roll processing application.

Aluminum Idler Rollers are ideally suited to a number of applications where light weight and low inertia are important.  These rollers are designed to cover a wide range of standard web speeds in light to medium tension applications.

Material Construction

Construction consists of 6061-T6 aluminum tubing.

 

Tolerances

  • Dynamically balanced to ISO 1940-1973 G2.5

  • Maximum TIR = .003

  • Maximum Taper per foot is .0005

  • Bearing bore diameters machined to +/- .00025

  • Outside diameter finished to 20

  • Diameter 2", 3", 3.5", 4", 4.5", 5", 5.5", 6", 8", and 10"

Shaft Bearing Sizes

Shaft and bearing sizes are engineered to suit each individual application.
